1. Always do it with adult supervision, including removing the paint part.
   It is a good idea if you can find some one experienced at the art.
   Presence of such a person, helps immensely.

2. Always buy proper face paints, and don't use any other paints.

3. Wrap up yourself in old towels wile applying paints, this saves the clothes and becomes a handy place for the painter to rub of excess paints.

4. Remember to buy paint removers beforehand, they will have the paint out
   of your face painlessly.

5. Don't use good towels whether while applying or removing. They may
   spoil your towels.

6. If you feel irritation, you may be allergic to it, and keep away from
   the art.

7. Always cover the work surface or the floor with absorbent paper towel
   or kitchen cloth.

8. Be careful while applying or removing paints near the eyes.
