A forfeit prize can be offered.

Mock throw up

This game is perfect for the hallway or corridor with least of the furniture. The host should stand up on a high stool or a chair equipped with a throw up bag. The bag should be filled with candies of all colors and varieties.

The guests should stand up circling the chair in a hand-in-hand ring chain. Care should be taken so there are sufficient clearing around the place where the host stands.

The participants in the ring will start yell "throw up mister". They will continue until the contents are thrown up in the air.

As participants will do their best in collecting the maximum number of candies without placing any of them in their pockets, the host will keep an eye whether any over enthusiast break rule.
The winner is the highest collector. The award is already there only to be consumed latter for a real yummy treat.

Spoon the balloon

This is a game of gamesmanship. The players each have a spoon, and stand in a circle with about a meter between each of them. A balloon is placed on one spoon and is then tossed from spoon to spoon around the circle. The other players, without moving from their posts, do all they can, in the way of verbal discouragements, to make the receiving player lose concentration. The players who fail to catch the balloon on their spoons are out, and the others close ranks.

Lucky Dip

The element of surprise makes this an amusing attraction for the party. Instead of dipping into this box of goodies, each guest selects one of the dangling labels, then fishes out the small gift or bag of candies attached to the other end of the string. The design of the tags can be varies according to the party theme and the interests of the guests.

You need:
large cardboard box, brown wrapping paper, colored paper, sticky transparent tape, scissors, colored poster board, colored pens or crayon, craft knife or skewer, tissue paper, trinkets as gifts, narrow ribbons, string.

Cover the cardboard box first with brown paper and then with colored paper, securing it neatly with sticky tape.

Make poster board templates for the tags. Shapes of anything from candy, roses, animals, to Frisbees, balls, cups and doubloons fits with the carnival spirit.

You will need each shape in two sizes, a larger one to attach to the gift and a smaller one to tie to the other end of the string. Draw around the templates onto poster board.

Cut out the tags. Use colored pens or crayons to decorate the tags. Make a small hole in each tag using a craft knife or skewer.

Pack up the gifts in colorful tissue paper.

Tie the packages with colorful ribbons, knotting them with bows.

Thread a piece of string through the hole in a large tag, then knot the end. Thread the opposite end through a matching small tag, then knot that end.

Tie the string near the large tag securely around the gift. Put the gifts in the box with their small tags dangling around the sides. Pack the box with crumpled tissue paper to hide the package.

Grouping Game

This is a good game to play as a mixer. It is a fun, fast moving game. It starts out as everyone collects in one big group. The leader initially calls out a number, usually a number between two and fifteen. The number shouldn't be more than half of the number of total participants. When the number is called out everyone must try to collect in a group that contains that number of people.

The group members should be latching arms or have their arms wrapped around each other so that the leader can see who is in the group. If someone cannot enter a group because the number of required members has been reached, the person is out of the game. As different numbers are successively called out the number of participants gets smaller and smaller. Eventually, there are less than ten people. The last group, or winning group, should have anywhere from two to five people. for some cool crafts click
