- You need a month template with empty grids. Print it out 12 times to
get 12 month sheets.
- Fill the empty date boxes in each sheet with the Hebrew and English
dates.
- Now color the borders of each month using the markers/crayons you
have.

calendar. Make a similar hole in the top left corner of your calendar.
- Pass the string through the holes and tie the loose ends into a knot.
- Your Jewish calendar is ready. Dangle it from a suitable position in
your room so that it can come handy when you need it!

Materials needed:
1) Paper towels - 7-8.
2) Aluminum foil
3) Newspaper - 10.
4) Poster paints or markers
5) Glue
Instructions:
- Tear the newspapers into small rectangular strips (about 2" wide and
4" long). Immerse these completely in a large bowl container with 3/4
parts glue & 1/4 parts water. Leave the solution for about six hours,
stirring occasionally.
- Rub the paper strips together to prepare a paper mache paste.
- Roll 5-6 paper towels together to form a horn-like structure.
- Wrap the horn completely with the aluminium foil and shape like a
shofar.
- Cover the surface of the foil shofar completely with 2-3 layers of
paper mache. Leave it for 3-4 hours.
- Cut the shofar in half before the mache dries fully. Remove the foil
and again let the shofar dry.
- When the shofar has dried, apply glue to fix back the two halves.
Allow it to dry for 3-4 hours more.
- When it has completely dried, embellish your papaer mache shofar
