1. Draw the outline of a small star (of any shape) on one part of the plain paper. Cut it out.
2. Using the cut-out as a template, form similar paper flower stars.
3. Use spray glue to stick all paper stars on the glass.
4. Dab the sponge with the turquoise paint. Sponge-paint the lantern, except the base portion and 2" from the top.
5. Before the turquoise paint dries, quickly dab the sponge paint with the royal blue paint and use it to color around the base of the lantern. This will lead to the mixing of the turquoise and the blue paint to form a bronzy color.
6. Dab another clean sponge piece with the purple paint and use it to color the still unpainted rim of the lantern.
7. Dab another clean sponge piece with the purple paint and use it to color the still unpainted rim of the lantern.
8. Dab another clean sponge piece with the purple paint and use it to color the still unpainted rim of the lantern.
