Oktoberfest Events in 2015
For all the beer lovers around the globe it’s time for Oktoberfest the grandest event of the year. An occasion solely dedicated for the beer lovers. The Oktoberfest 2015 will commence at 10.45 am on 19th September, with the usual opening ceremony “O’ zapft is”. The festival will continue till 4th October and the doors will be closed at 12.00 pm.
The tents will be open from 10:00 until 23:00 on the weekdays. The beers will be served: opening day 12.00 noon - 10.30 pm, Weekdays 10.00 am - 10.30 pm,
Saturday-Sunday-holiday 09.00 am - 10.30 pm. On weekends the tents will open one hour earlier that is at 9:00. The “Wiesnschänke Käfer” and the “Weinzelt” are the exception as their closing time is at one o’clock in the morning.

At 10.45 amArrival of the tent patrons with parade through Munich.

Tapping of the first Octoberfest-beer-barrel by the Munich mayor in the Schottenhamel Tent.
20th September Sunday 2015
At 10.00 amTraditional costume parade through Munich.
21st September Monday 2015
At 9.00 amOktoberfest tour for 1200 preschool children, invited by the City of Munich, the performers and the hosts.
At 12.00 pm
Special lunch for senior citizens in the big tents.
22nd September, Tuesday 2015
At 12.00 pm - 6.00 pm1. Family day: all rides and performances cost less.
24th September, Thursday 2015
At 10.00 amTraditional religious Oktoberfest mass.
27th September, Sunday 2015
At 11.00 amTraditional concert of the Oktoberfest brass-bands at the feet of the Bavaria.
29th September, Tuesday 2015
At 12.00 pm - 6.00 pm2. Family day: all rides and performances cost less.
4th October, Sunday 2015
At 12.00 pmThe traditional gun salute of the event will be held on the steps of the Bavaria monuments.
