Parents' Day Recipes

Muesli of Apple

Skimmed Milk- 1/2 cup
Oats- ¼ cup
Vanilla Flavored Yogurt, must be low fat- ½ cup
Medium sized apples- 2
Medium Sized Pear- 1
Pineapple and orange juice- ½ cup
Ground Pecans- 2 table spoon
Honey- 2 Table spoon
Grated Orange Zest- 1 Table spoon
Ground Cinnamon- ½ Table spoon
Sliced Banana- 1
Blueberries- ½ cup
Sliced Almonds- 2/3

How to make Apple Muesli:
Keep the mixture of milk, oats and yogurt aside just for 5 minutes.

Separate the seeds from apples and pear and grind them properly.

Blend the oat mixture with the sliced bananas, grinded fruits, pecans, orange, juice, cinnamon.
Use almonds to embellish the Muesli of apple.

Serve with love.

Bean Salad And Baby Corn

Suger-1 cup
Cider Vinegar- 1 cup
Drained Kidney Beans- 1 can
Finely and properly diced Celey- 1-1/2 cup
Cauliflower Pieces- 1 cup
Oil- ½ cup
Salt- 1 Table spoon
Drained Lima Beans- 1 can
Drained Baby Corn- 1 can

How to make Baby Corn and Bean Salad:
Use a pan to mix vinegar, sugar, oil and salt. Place the pan on flame. Boil it and turn the flame off.

Now, it’s time to add corn, celery, beans and cauliflower in the pan.

Refrigeration is must before the container with the salad is served.

Banana Cream

Grained Sugar- 1 cup.
Flour- 5 Table spoon.
Milk- 1 cup.
Egg Yolks- 4
Vanilla extract- 1-1/2 Table spoon
Dense cream- 2 cups.
Pieces of Banana- 2
Sink the sliced banana into 1-1/2 table spoon lemon juice
9 inches Pie shell- 1 baked
Cut butter into pieces- 3 Table spoon
Ground Cinnamon- ½ Table spoon

How to make Banana Cream:
Bring the saucepan with water to the boiling temperature

Beat the egg yolks for 2 minutes in medium speed of electric mixture keeping it in a bowl and add sugar steadily.

Make the mixture thick beating it in flour. Slowly and gradually add hot milk to the mixer while putting it on low speed.

Heat the mixer and stir it constantly. Boil it for 1 minute and remove it then but continue beating it until it is smooth enough. Beat and meanwhile put butter and cinnamon in it. Stir it with vanilla extract. Cool it.

Beat 1 cup cream until it is firm but don’t make it stiff. Mix ½ cup of whipped cream into the egg combination to lighten it.

Crease the remaining whipped cream into egg mix before folding in sliced bananas.

Lastly, relocate it to the pastry shell. Thrash the remaining cream and spoon it onto the pie.

Keep it in a cool place until you serve it.

Cashew Chicken Curry

Chicken- 1kg.
Sliced onions- 4
Small pieces of Ginger- 2
Cumin seeds- ½ Table spoon
Garlic Cloves- 25
Chili Powder- 2 Table spoon.
Turmeric Powder- ½ Table spoon
Salt according to taste
Coconut oil-1/2 cup
Mustard Seeds- 1 Table spoon
Cashew Nuts-20
Sliced tomatoes- 2
Lemon juice- ½ lemon
Finely chopped stems of Coriander Leaves

How to make Cashew Chicken Curry:
Chicken should be cut into 2 pieces.

Put cashew nuts into water and keep it there for 10 minutes before grinding it into paste.

Finely chopped onions, ginger, cumin, seeds and garlic should be grinded together.

Heat coconut oil and sputter mustard seeds.

Fry sliced onions and shallow after adding it to mixture.

Mix it properly with the onion paste.

Stir the mixture with chili powder and tomatoes.

Turmeric powder, chicken, salt should be added with water. Continue the heat until the chicken turns soft. Put lemon juice. Stir it with cashew paste. Take the mixture to the boiling temperature.

Use coriander leaves to adorn the item.

Serve it hot with steamed rice.

Dried Chicken Fry

Chicken- 1Kg.
Garlic cloves- 8
Stems of Coriander leaves- 2
Green chilies- 2
Corn Flour- 5 Table spoon
White egg- 1
Lemon- 1
Turmeric Powder- A pinch
Aginomoto- A pinch
Salt according to taste

How to make Chicken Dry Fry:
Chicken should be sliced into bite-sized pieces.

Green chilies, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves should be grinded. Keep it aside.

Combine egg white, corn flour, turmeric powder, lemon juice, aginomoto and salt.

Preserve the chicken with the pre grinded mixture.

Keep it in a cool place for 60 minutes.

Take a pan and heat the oil of the pan. Fry the marinated pieces of chicken.

Now, it’s time to serve it hot.

Fruit cake without egg:

Maida-200 gm.
Raisins-1/2 Table spoon
Tuti fruity-1/2 Table spoon
Baking Powder- 1 Table spoon.
Aerated Soda-150 ml.
Vanilla Essence- ½ Table spoon
Soda Bicarbonate-1/2 Table spoon
Chopped dates- 1 Table spoon
Sliced cashew nuts-1/2 Table spoon.
Sweet condensed milk- 400 gm.

How to make Eggless Fruit Cake:
Heat the oven at 180 degree Celsius.

Grease a baking tray and dust it with flour.

Mix it with maida, baking powder and soda bicarbonate. Put the combination aside.

After softening the butter, ass the condensed milk and stir it properly.

Add the butter milk with the vanilla essence. Stir it nicely to form a batter.

Combine the aerated soda with the maida mixture.

1 Table spoon of flour should be mixed with cashew nuts, dates, tutu fruity and raisins. Shake the combination in a way by with the dry fruits are covered with flour.

Shake off the excessive flour by filtering the dry fruits mixture.

Now, put the dry fruits in the batter. Put the batter into the baking can.

Burn the batter for 40-50 minutes in the preheated oven.

After the cake is baked, remove it and keep it aside for a while.

Now serve the tasty eggless fruit cake.
